This website collects nothing until you write to us

munhq.com is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts and loads no external fonts or images. Reading the site stores nothing about you beyond the transient server and network logs described below. There is one form, on the home page, and it only sends what you type into it.

The JavaScript is ours and there is no other. A small inline block reads your light or dark choice before the page paints; the file at /assets/app.<hash>.js, whose name carries a hash of its own contents, handles the theme button and the contact form. Nothing on the site animates on scroll. Your theme choice is saved in your own browser's local storage under the key munhq-theme. That value never leaves your device, is not an identifier, and nothing else reads it. Clear it from your browser at any time. With JavaScript disabled the pages still read normally, the theme follows your operating system, and the form does not submit. You can verify all of this by viewing the source.

What is unavoidably processed to serve the page

• Our origin servers run on our own infrastructure with OVHcloud in Gravelines, France (EU). Web server logs may briefly contain your IP address, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent, as any web server does.
• Cloudflare sits in front of the site as CDN and DNS, so your request reaches Cloudflare before it reaches us and is subject to their processing as our provider.

We do not use this data to profile you, we do not combine it with anything else, and we do not sell or share it.

The contact form

If you submit the form on the home page, we receive the name, email address, topic and message you typed, and the IP address the request came from. The IP is there for one reason: to limit how many messages a single source can send, so the form cannot be used to flood our mailbox. It is held in memory for ten minutes for that check, and it is also written into the message we receive.

The message is sent to a mailbox on our own mail server in the EU, through Amazon SES in the Frankfurt region. We use it to answer you, and we keep it as long as we need it for that and as a record of business correspondence. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not pass it to anyone else. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, and where your message is about buying something, taking steps at your request before a contract.

This page covers this website only. Each product processes its own data under its own policy and its own terms. Installing or signing up for one of them is a separate relationship from reading this page.
